Title: Three Ringed Candle Holder , Scandi ?
Post by: davem on March 24, 2015, 12:11:34 PM
Hi ,

I presume a candle should rest on the top of this but it does not have a recess for a candle to sit in .
Measures 15cm or  5 15/16" high  X   9.8cm 3 7/8" across
Weighs very close to 1 lb or 0.45kg
Base has a rough broken pontil (pic 2) , the top has textured rippled (molded ?) effect in centre (pic 3)
I have come close with shapes but no match .

Many thanks for any help , Dave.

Thank's Mr Turnip .

I've tried German  and would agree that some hoop/ring designs look similar.

Ryd Sweden looked to have made vases with very similar hoops to this but no match .

I've also thought of this being some kind of float as it's sealed . Not sure the rims would last long as a fishing float tho :(

I may just put it away for another few years and hope to one day find out :)
