I got this vase at an auction quite a while ago and have been trying to get a identification on the maker ever since. I am sure it is Czech Glass but I am at a loss as to a maker. I have done a lot of research online but have not found out much. I know IDing Czech glass makers can be very difficult because the glass went through importers and not to mention the country has been cut off behind the iron curtain for such a long time.
I posted it on another glass group and some one suggested Kralik but didn't give a reason why. To my eye the vase did not look very much like other Kralik glass I have seen.
I would really appreciate any help IDing this vase.

Hello there and welcome to the glass message board.
I'm not entirely convinced about the Czechness of this piece, I have one in cranberry which is clearly English. Luckily we have many specialists for English glass on board, so I have good hopes that an ID will happen.

Czech IMO (this rigaree is typical), perhaps Harrach is the best bet from the flower, but who knows. Can we see your piece Ivo please?

I would go with Czech/Bohemian for that too. Too much Bohemian glass has long been misidentified as English for too long

I would agree that these are both Bohemian/Czech in origin. I am of the opinion that far too much of this glass is simply attributed to Kralik, and done so without any real supporting evidence or research. I think that a variety of companies, both known and unknown produced this type of product.
