I guess fairly new (no wear to the flat polished base), but no idea where it was made: China? Murano? ...?
Blue and red canes with micro daisy flowers.
5 cm diameter, height 3.8 cm.
Thanks for any help ;)

I've got similar and have always had it down as modern Murano, for some reason I tend to think anything with small daisy effects is,only based on quick glances around the intoe though ,so could be totally wrong.

Hi Michael,
I agree with bat20, it is Murano.

Thank you very much, both! :)
I guess impossible to tell when / by whom...?
I wasn't able to find many weights on the net with similarish daisy canes.

Hi. I bought a fairly simliar one in a grockle trap (aka holiday souvenir shop) in St Jean de Luz, when on holiday around 1998, so that probably gives an indication of the age. I think I had to pay about EUR 15.00 for it.

Thank you very much, Alan!
Considering the very little wear, that sounds reasonable...

The canes - "bundles of flower canes" - are very much like one in an example sheet, illustrated in Bob Hall's World Paperweights book, and said to be Fratelli Toso c1960-1980.

Thank you very much Kevin!
Nice -- so Murano it is, probably by Fratelli Toso (the one I linked to had a "Castle" label -- I think that the label would hint towards Fratelli Toso as well?)
@Alan: I paid 5,- Euro, so I guess that was a reasonable prize...
