Hello, my first post !
I saw a paperweight in a shop today, and it looked like a quality one. It was a flattened sphere and had an impressed mark on the concave bottom. I drew this from memory. My first impression was of three dancing girls - but that could just be me. Many thanks in advance:

Hello and welcome, the only thing similar I can think of is the Guernsey mark, see below..

So it is supposed to be three lions ? Er, that's a design that doesn't quite come across !

Yes, same as the the Lions Passant of England. Three Lions one above the other.
The Guernsey impressed mark is not often very clear - and many people think it is three rabbits in a line!
See photo below for the actual viewing position with a rough outline of one lion to make it a bit easier to see what the mark is supposed to show.
