I'm probably showing my newbie ignorance here, but this sweet little thing (what is it?) reminds me a little of Nailsea and Walsh Walsh. It's 4 3/8" or 110mm tall with a diameter of 3 1/4" or 83mm. It has a rough pontil, doesn't react to UV, has a nice ring and wear to the outer edge of the foot. The bowl is open into the bulb at the bottom of the ogee, if that makes sense.
Any pointers gratefully received.
Thanks
Nick

Hi,
Thought I'd add some slightly better pics. It's obviously not Walsh (given the tumble weed blowing across the post ;), but it does remind me of some of the Powell glasses. If it's rubbish I'd rather know, It's all part of the learning experience. Being a cheapskate I paid flumpence for it.
Regards

I think the answer so far is that nobody knows, but I don't think it's rubbish

Thanks Christine,
I rather like it, the feathering has a nice balance to it.
When you're new to something it's too easy to think that a lack of replies means your item is tat , rather than that nobody knows. (I'm not sure if I'm insecure or paranoid :))
Kind Regards

Is it lead crystal?
-
It has a nice ring to it, so I'd say yes.

That's good and probably means it's old not modern

Thanks for your help Christine.
Kind Regards
