Hello,
Today I am looking for help with several further pieces which I have had in my collection for a while but have been unable to identify. This is a lovely vase in muted colours and a lovely overlaid swirling design. There is a slight iridescence to the overlaid glass, which is hard to capture, and there is a signature and date (92) to the base. The base is roughly polished to enable the vase to stand flat and it measures approx. 5.5" high, 3.75" wide. If anyone could help I would be very grateful!

Could it read Ward?
Again, the talcum powder trick might help bring the signature out. :)
If you haven't got talc, cornflour or even ordinary flour would do - they're just a little messier than talc. :)

'talc-ified' - hope it helps? It may be Ward.. do you know any glassmakers named Ward working in the 90's?

and something which I do not think will be of any use at all, Titan glass by a W Ward - but that's just little bird things, which look very mass produced.

You're quicker off the mark than I am.. I'm still cleaning talc off my living room floor!
I'll have to do a bit of work, I've not found anything that looks quite like this. Pls let me know if you do!
