Title: Old English ID help.
Post by: marc on April 15, 2015, 03:41:12 PM
Hi all,

I have seen this weight in a local dealer, I think is an old English,  but I don't know the maker. Could it be Richardson, 1910's ??
10.5 cm diameter, 5 cm High.

Thanks.

Hi marc. It is Old English, but definitely not Richardson.  It is Walsh Walsh or Arculus (hard to distinguish, because Walsh Walsh bought the Arculus factory in 1930). I think it is later than 1910s - more likely 1920s - 1930s.
