Hi does any one know the makers mark which I have found on some cut glasses, which has an etched m with a line underneath very similar to webb Corbett.
thankyou

Hi - welcome to the GMB.
Can't off-hand think of, or see anything along the lines of the mark you're describing - are you able to attach a picture of one of the pieces carrying this mark? .... or even a picture of the mark itself.
-
Here is a photograph of the makers mark, please see attached :)

A stencilled 'B' would not be a complete symbol and would therefore look like an m. I think Paul might now about a 'B' mark?
-
sorry, misplaced faith on this occasion :) - at a very quick squint it's reminiscent of Dartington, but it's not.
the fact that it's a stylized sort of image, suggests a modern manufacture, but regret it's unknown to me at the moment.
Let's hope someone has the answer.

I am trying to remember if it is Webb Corbett or Royal Doulton who use a B on seconds, as soon as I saw the pic above of the mark, I knew I had seen it before, but which one, my memory is failing me!
-
Webb Corbett - I have 2 glasses in the same pattern - one is marked Webb Corbett, the other has this mark.

Thank you Anne for confirming, I just could not remember which one it was!
