Hellp again peeps....ding ding round 4... My Mothers glass dish or bowl, think from 50-60's, although not sure. In daylight a light pinky translucent, at night under artificial light a definite turquoise/green.....very odd....please explain to the science dinosaur.
Looks like a murano bullicante, could this be a piece by barbini??? I'm not hopeful.
Any help you can give including date, gratefully received.
Thanks
Simon

I'm going back to neo-wotsit. At least I do know what that is!

Poor Stringofpearls, only wanted to know what sort of glass it was ???... actually I think it is a really lovely bowl, and I would have bought it had I seen it.
Christine has the spelling of neodymium absolutely correct.

Pale purple from now on ! ::) ;D ;D
-
Don't mind me I'm loving the banter!
-
;D
Not lilac, Keith? Pale Purple sounds a bit wishy washy, especially if one is more used to Deep Purple. .
(showing my age here)

Oh I give up ::) ;D ;D, saw Deep Purple back in the early 70s so I must be ancient !
