Saw this sign today just round the corner from Carder Way Brierley Hill...... ;D surprised it's still standing. Excuse the dodgy photo, ::)

Yes, well worth 'preserving' (like a Banksy!) - how big is it Keith?

Probably about 3 ft by 2, other side of a large fence, did wonder about grabbing my hand saw and popping back when it was quiet :o ;D ;D The old works have  been converted into flats so the land probably belongs to the building company. Honeyborne house is still there and looks occupied.

I think it's well worth trying to negotiate a deal on that !

Best of luck , if you so decide !! Cheers, Mike

Oh, I thought it was one of those tin-plate ones. Never mind, it's still worth preserving.

I couldn't agree more ...well worth getting in trouble with wife over ...the fact that it is made of wood is even more reason to save it  !  ;D

You can always explain that you rescued it so it can go into the new museum (as and) when it happens... But meanwhile it needs a place to stay!  :)
