Title: Is this a type of sommerso vase? Is it Italian? ID = Beyer & Co
Post by: evaelena on May 12, 2015, 11:21:31 PM
Any help would be great- this is 8" tall and cut on top and both sides, so they are flat planes - then horizontal cuts down each rounded side. Heavy, no marks- beautiful! I am assuming it is from the 1960s/1970s? I would like to sell eventually.

It is a point of discussion: some people will call it clear cased, others would go for sommerso. I would go with clear cased.

Your vase looks much more scandinavian than Italian. And it is a beaut. As to who made it I'm 404.
