Hi all,I found this on my lunch break today and I can't quite get my head around it,loads of wear to the base with a polished Pontil and mould blown ,the smoke glass looks 50's,60's,and the decoration late Victorian,I can see a shadow of the gold lustre that would have made up the branches joining the flowers and leaves,it's about 12cm ht,any ideas thanks.

What a great find, the butterfly looks deco and the vase looks Auguste Jean in colour, the wear must mean 1910 - 30's in date or earlier, I have a silver rimmed vase with similar handles dated to around 1910, good luck in finding a maker, lovely piece.

Thanks Chris,it's got something about it,I have a small green jug with daisy enamel decoration and a broken Pontil, but this has a different feel.

Not having a lot of luck finding much out about this one, apart from someone suggesting to another person trying to identify a similar piece to check out the French paperweight makers pieces using enameled decoration, can't find any myself, anyone have any images of such pieces, thanks.

... French paperweight makers pieces using enameled decoration ...
I have no idea what that could mean!!

Sorry to upset you Kevin, what I was trying to say, very badly I admit, was I looked into other French glass makers after Chris thought this piece had similar colour to some Auguste Jean pieces,I came across someone suggesting to another person posting a piece with similar colour to mine to look at the glass made by Clichy,Pantin and Baccarat with enamel decoration,I couldn't find any online so I thought I'd post here just in case,I hope this makes more sense to you :

I think the enameled colours and glass are close on these two?not saying it's moser but I think I'm moving out of France for now.https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/decorative-objects/vases-vessels/fabulous-moser-enameled-applied-glass-vases/id-f_1266234/ hope this link works or I'll have to grab one of the kids later.

I wouldn't be convinced that (the linked one) was Moser; the quality of the enamelling isn't good enough IMO.

I think I would agree having looked at a shed load of enameled glass now Christine, not the premier le ague maybe, did Kralik do similar glass?
