A large cranberry and uranium glass jardiniere with applied uranium glass rim and feet , 2 of the feet being fish.
I not sure of maker but Stevens and Williams comes to mind, all thoughts much appreciated.
Length 9"
Height 4.75"
Weight over 1050 gm.
Polished pontil.

Very similar to a Walsh one i put on here a while ago, similar fish and rim.

10 inches across the rim, could be the competition of the time :)

I would say they were the same maker; the fish are too similar

The mid section on the rim frill is also similar.

Have a look at page 41 of the John Walsh Walsh book. There is a bowl on the Crushed Strawberry catalog page - middle row, right most - that appears to match your piece (except for colour).

Sid I do have the book and its a perfect 100% John Walsh Walsh ID.
Chris yours is also illustrated as well and was sold as Electric Blue as illustrated in The Pottery Gazette, November 1883.
