Title: ID for paperweights 6 of 8. ID = Anthony Stern
Post by: chucksbikeorama on July 23, 2015, 02:48:21 PM
Hi,

If anyone can help me identify these paperweight(s) I'd be most grateful (original post separated into individual posts).

Inherited from a grandparent, so are assumed to be '60s or 70s. Some say 'Caithness', another 'Phoenix (something)', a few are 'signed', other than this I know little about them. All in good condition.

Thanks in advance!  :)

Hmm, at first I thought this was Anthony Stern, but it appears to be Paul Stern.
They're both good names. :)

Thanks Sue!
Here's another pic. I think it may say 'Antony' actually, now you mention it, what do you reckon? Or 'squiggle' (like my signature)

 ;D
Anthony it is. I've just compared it with my example of his signature on a bowl. (which was sold as Mdina - that's what the seller thought it read!)
