Can anyone tell me the maker, age, value or anything else about this weight please...

Hi oldnurse85,
I believe that this is from Silesia/Thuringia, dating roughly from the late 19th to early 20th century. These nested baskets are typical motifs found in weights from this group with yellow & white filigree ribbon most commonly used in the making. Most of these weights are in the miniature range (under 2") and they usually have a flat semi polished base. The basket on yours is not the best. The finest examples of these will have 2, 3 or even 4 layers of basket with additional millefiori or the rare sulphide set over the basket.
Best Regards,
Eric

Thanks, I was thinking it was German made and old. The glass highly fluoresces green under a black light. It measures about 2 1/2" in diameter and 1 1/2" high.
