Browsing on GTS to send photos to Anne of matching ring holders I found Libochovice 1299-1316. I have the ring holder in clear and green, I thought. But the Americain manufacturer Fosteria has the same model. Now I don't know anymore what I have. In the US, they pay high prices for a real Fosteria, icecube, ring holder. I thought mines were identical ... but looking better and closer, I found some differences. The clear one is a bit heavier and slightly thicker. It mesurer diameter 11,4. The green one 11 cm. The edges of the clear one are sharper and it has "something" in between the "saw-tooths". On top of the pin is a very small kind of glass ball/bead.
In order to avoid sending wrong photos to Anne, I would like to here your ideas about this mysterie...

Fostaria /Libochovice 1299/1316 - part 2

My opinion only...the clear one is not Fostoria American as the American ring holder does not have any type of bead at the tip & the closeup photo of the pattern does not show a fire polished pattern as it looks dull lacking detail. As for the price...you must be looking at the prices from Replacements & the other dreamers. These actually sell for under $200 although thats a healthy price.

My opinion: the clear one is more likely to be Fostoria as its diameter is much closer to to an Imperial measurement 4.48, i.e. 4.5 in. than the green one at 4.33 in

That funny little ball on the top occurs on several ringholders I have. It looks like a leftover bit from the moulding, perhaps?
