Only 3 inches tall, perfect condition and cheap, what more could you ask ?
-
very nice Keith - great finds and lovely shade of green. So these will go on the 87th shelf I suppose ;D
-
Don't know about a shelf - you going to need an extension to your house if you keep acquiring glass at this rate Keith! ;) ;D
-
Paul, not sure we've got to 87, yet !
Roberta, a new house would be better, bigger the better ! ;D ;D
-
could just be a distortion of camera/light/screen, but your green doesn't look very much like the green in Williams-Thomas book, Keith - if you have the book, which of the other shades of this colour do you think it is? (see page 72). The green in the book is quoted as being jade.
-
Came out a bit darker than it is, more like the candlestick on page 25, ;D
-
probably jade green then
-
Mmmm those are nice, Keith!
-
Thanks Anne, have you seen the prices of some alabaster pieces on ebay, £176 for a cup and saucer ! :o more than 10 times what I paid for mine !!
-
Ummm no, to be honest I dare not look, Keith! I am banned from buying any more glass until we can get some of the stuff I have rehomed, and get the rest unpacked and sorted out, and there are mountains of trinket sets which take priority for space. :)
