Title: Art Deco Frosted Glass Signed Sculpture ?
Post by: BSevern on August 14, 2015, 04:44:43 PM
I posted this lovely piece on a FB glass group and someone suggested it was likely French, but I didn't get any further on an attribution then that.

It's signed with two  larger intertwined letters within a circle, (I'm not sure what the two larger intertwined letters are), and underneath the larger letters it says "CRISTAL".

It's a larger piece, the dancer is frosted glass (possibly is Josephine Baker?), and she fits into the crystal base.

TIA,
Brian

Bump.....  Does anyone recognize this mark?

I've tried going through the Glasmarken Lexicon and couldn't find a similar mark.

TIA,
Brian

Could the mark be a " C S " in a circle with the word CRISTAL ( not crystal )?
