Looking for cased glass for my ruby goblet, I came across this.
Long sold and listed as Mount Washington/Moser the dolphin looked familiar -

I looked it up and in Broadfield House collection there are two bowls on dolphin stands, identified as Richardson's

and here with the frosted dolphin

Charles Hajdamach talks about the difference in the Dolphins on various pieces in British Glass 1800-1914 on page 104 where he says
'...while the pressed glass dolphin of the tazza is reminiscent of the dolphin candlesticks seen on New England glass of the same period. On the English version the tail is not connected to the fin on the underside of the body of the dolphins.
The dolphin looks identical on the compote I thought?
Thoughts anyone?
