Best regards to everybody.
This vase seems "nenuphars " of Pierre d’Avesne (1926 ?) I have seen this vase in many frosted colors but no one in clear glass . No marks but I know that many items are unsigned.
What do you think about: it is a copy or a fake or an inferior quality?
Thanks for your opinion.

Hello
I am a grea tcollector of D'avesn and I have a lot of pieces by him
The man that made Lalique
this is a pretty piece but in my opinion this is not one of his works

Hello Giulissa,
I have the same vase, also in pink but with a satin finish and I asked myself the same question.
Via a friend I got in touch with a gentleman who's writing a book at the moment on Pierre d'Avesn, and he said it was definitely his design 'Nénuphars' but due to lack of signature, probably edited by Choisy-le-Roi.

Ah so there you go Giulissa, one say yes and one says no... you're not any wiser with this I guess :D
-
Hello Anne
is this book published I would love to get a copy
best regards Alan

Hello
to be honest my eyes are dim and I can't see the detail too well
but it doesn't look like the same design to me
regards Alan
-
So would I !!! I contacted this person in France about three years ago, but never stayed in touch ... I'll see if I still have his address.
-
Maybe it's better to see the design with a satin finish...

This is as close as you get it with me ;D
Sorry Giulissa, I'm only helping out with a few images, sorry if I give you the idea that I'm trying to hack your thread...

Thanks Anne
that's much better for my poor old eyes

Thanks for your answers .
Hi , Alan I know the story of Pierre d' Avesn and I appreciate his work , but I'm sure the design is " nenuphars " because I could compare it directly with another copy signed . What puzzles me is the clear glass , have you never seen another ?
Hi , Anne I have to thank you for the answer you gave me on the vases Legras , that although them had looked carefully even using a lens , are still unsigned .
I sent to the board a post on August 18 about a small blue molded vase but got no answer . It may be an object very common and uninteresting but I 'd like to know which technique was realized. Could I have your opinion?
Thank you again and hope not to have taken up your time

Hi Giulissa,
I have seen a non-treated one only once and it was a clear glass vase.
Re your Legras biscuit barrel, not all pieces by Legras were signed, that's all I can say, but I won't mention anything more over here, just to avoid crossing topics in one thread.
I have seen your bleu vase but can't help you with that I'm afraid.
