Post by: brucebanner on August 26, 2015, 05:12:55 PM
A mustard or condiment i think by W A Bailey, to think the company made millions of items there are not many around online.

A two piece mould blown jar and the lid looks also a two piece mould.

5 inches in total height, 2 3/4 inches across the rim and 2 1/2 inches across the base.

William A. Bailey it is.

This is a new one for the GMB RD Database, and I will add it to the gallery shortly.

Many of Bailey's designs seem to be for jelly or potted meat moulds, potted meat or fish paste jars and the like, so most were probably regarded simply as empty domestic glass containers and thrown away once empty.
