Title: Textured and mishapen glass. ID = Dugan
Post by: Bandit76 on August 30, 2015, 05:03:39 AM
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone might know what kind of glass this is, where it might be from or who created it?  There are no makers marks on them and they are about 7" or 8" high.  Thank you so much.

At first glance the shapes look quite Nouveau, clearer and less pixilated photos would help.

I sometimes see this type of glass in the States for sale as Dugan glass ... not that I know anything about it but the name came to mind ... maybe worth a thought?

I think they might be Dugan Venetian.
Edited to add
hmm, Anne has already said Dugan and  this article appears very confusing as to what range actually and how to distinguish them as a range.  Sorry only just seen Anne's reply.

I have handled Dugan glass a have no problem with this attribution. It is a miracle how they managed to churn out two similar ones!
