Hi,
I sure someone can help on this one, I think this is an Isle of Wight glass perfume bottle from the Ribbons range in Red for the German market (has a German handmade label) but have never seen an atomiser and also never seen an inscription on the bottom that reads "produced for Gregor"
Size is 2.75" to top of glass and 4.5" to top of atomiser.
I have tried comparing the signatures on other examples of IOW and it looks a little like Jonathan Harris's but could be very wrong!!
Would the experts agree with me on the attribution and do they know who Gregor is?
Thank you
James

I'm not an expert but I found reference to an item at Ramsus Auction, no picture was supplied, but the description runs like this...
ACCESSORIES ENGLISH ATOMIZER IN AZURENE GOLD BY ISLE OF WIGHT. BLACK DECORATION AGAINST A RED AND AZURENE GOLD GROUND WITH GOLD INCLUSIONS. THE BLUE AND GOLD FOIL LABEL READS ISLE OF WIGHT GLASS. ETCHED ON THE UNDERSIDE PRODUCED FOR GREGOR. THE GILT LID ON THE ATOMIZER IS ENGRAVED GREGOR/1938-1988/BAVARIA. 20TH CENTURY ORIGINALLY $950.00 RM 2H
(sorry if it's all in capitals, i copied and pasted it)

Great, many thanks for that.
A google search returns a number of pictures of perfume bottles labelled Gregor Bavaria, these are in lead crystal and porcelain, so I presume they were an importer and retailer of perfume bottles.
The one you have found sounds very similar to this one but does not have any engraving on the atomiser.
I will keep searching.

Title tweaked to catch the eyes of the IofW collectors...
