Title: Glass vase with atypical marking

Hi!
My mother has this crystal  vase. It stands 8 inches high, a nice piece but it has a mark "stuart" but it is done in what I would describe as "Army Stencil" capitals. I cannot find similar in any of the mark ID pages.

I assume it is attempting to "pass off" as Stuart but can anyone confirm before I do or don't tell my mother!

It looks fine to me too, as does the glass itself.
If somebody could make and cut a glass as well as this, why bother passing it off as something else? ;D
I think it's possibly a slightly more modern script, that's all.
