Hi. This is my forst post here. I recently bought a red glass vase with black swirly designs, approximately 40cm tall, narrow neck and wide bowl. It has a white glass interior. The label is gold foil with the words: BT Opaline Florence Made in Italy. I am wondering if this is genuine Emoli?

I think you mean Empoli but the label sounds genuine and to match the vase

Thank you for your reply Christine. I did indeed mean Empoli.
Tigerchips, thank you. I had previously checked the information in this link you have provided. However, I was still confused as the red glass label is different to the one on my vase, as in mine is gold foil and the letters are BT. I did not pay a lot of money for this vase on eBay but I am still interested in whether it is indeed genuine.
Is the red glass label the only one used for red glass? The design of my vase doesn't lend itself to a Chinese fake style in my opinion, but of course I am no expert so could easily be wrong.

I don't think i've ever seen one with BT label before. Googling shows a few with BT labels, and they look genuine to me.

Thank you Tigerchips! I have examined the vase and it doesn't appear to be a cheap copy so I feel the same. Hopefully someone will have seen the BT label but I feel more confident now. Thanks again.

There is no reason for these to be faked; they are relatively inexpensive and very much of their time

That depends on your definition of inexpensive. £40+ for a good shaped Empoli vase isn't inexpensive to me.
