Title: Identification help - ZBS or Skrdlovice? ID = ZBS
Post by: assaf on September 11, 2015, 03:17:49 PM
Hi,

Just bought his beauty few days ago. It has the 'Bohemia glass - made in Czechoslovakia' label, so I guess it is pre-1980.
The colors and shape suggest ZBS, but might be Skrdlovice as well? I couldn't find a picture of this model in my books or online, although I am sure I have seen this before, maybe on eBay?

thanks!

Hi,
this piece is definately ZBS, the colourway of brown cased in citrine is very distinctive.
Nice organic design :)

I have a big Klinger vase in this colourway...

Thanks, Michael!

ZBS was also my first thought, becuse the colors. But as I didn't find any reference to the shape - that's was the reason for my doubts...
could this piece be by Klinger as well? or maybe Miloslav Janků ?

I also have this color combination with another piece - the ZBS dolphin. it's hard to see the yellow citrine color, but it is there.
