Title: little vase with bronze mount
Post by: giulissa on September 14, 2015, 06:11:44 PM
Greetings to all of you .
Yesterday during the annual dusting I found this little jar : clear glass slightly iridescent with an irregular spiral pattern and has a frame made of bronze (Art Nouveau ? ) With grapes . The vessel including frames is high cm . 15. I looked through hundreds pictures but could not find anything like it especially in this dimension .
Do you have any idea ? Thank you in advance for your attention .

Did you look through the Loetz and Kralik websites?

Hi there,
I carefully checked all shapes and patterns both of which Loetz Kralic . The design of my glass might look like " Texsas glass" of Loetz or  better
" Twisted Ribbed " decor of Kralik . But their glasses look so fine , brittle and thin as my glass is heavy and thick at least 3 mm .
Any other ideas ?
Thank you.

I never had in my hand :( Loetz or Kralik items. They seem so refined! And what about the mount?
Tanks.
