Also found today at a good price ;D ;D

Nice, bought an orange Psychedelic there today for a friend... Spotted a red polka dot too but was not sure if that was unusual or not. ::)

Nice finds these. Funnily enough one sold on eBay just yesterday, in the same colour as yours, Keith:

That's about what I'd expect these days. John, most of the Duets will fetch similar prices, but I reckon the blue and yellow ones are the scarcest.Red Polka-dot is the classic pattern IMO, but red is the commonest - but it's a wonderful homage to the handkerchief vase!
-
Ah, but mine was less than a quarter of that price ! :o ;D ;D

Thanks David, just as well I left the polka dot behind then. I had to pay a bit more for the psychedelic than you did for the duet Keith but still reasonable.

The Psychedelic pattern is a pattern that always captures people's imagination and it sounds like you got it at a good price - but I assume it was tangerine, not black? Psycho is also available on small square trays, which are far less common.

Here's a link to the scarcer blue Duet, which was fairly accurately described (actually 1980s, made by Fiesta Glass Ltd - read the label!) and realised a reasonable £33:

Saw that one and did think about bidding but ::) ;D ;D
