WHO made me, WHEN was I made, WHAT is my Color ????
Are there any members that know their - Sowerby, Walther or Davidson Glass on here? Or the Maker of this piece?
It's been suggested to me that it may be one of these three.
Measures: 11 1/8" tall x 6 5/8" across the bowl x 4 3/8" diameter base.
The color is a very rich blue.
Finial is 6-sided, 4 mold seams from stem down.
I am thinking maybe Sowerby (English) or Walther (German) or Davidson.
I searched / emailed and cannot locate anything anywhere.

It's not Sowerby or Davidson, and I don't think it's Walther, sorry

I'm in agreement with Christine that it's not Sowerby or Davidson.

Any Suggestions Will Be Greatly Appreciated. ::)

My suggestion would be American from the colour and the shape, but I assume you've discounted that.

Lustrousstone,
Thank you for your effort.
I came the the suggestion of it being German or English glass by the advice of renowned American Glass experts as Tom Felt, Mitchell Stewart, Jack Peacock, Greg Jennings, Lorainne Kovar, The National Depression Glass Association, Worldwide Carnival Glass Association.
To surmise, THE HUNT IS STILL ON.

Christine I actually sent him here because of the advice he had been given. Personally I think its ours (US) but if it was made during 1930-1933 there is a significant chance that whomever made it went belly-up or it didn't sell when they made a limited run for jobbers so it was discontinued. In both cases the piece would have never been cataloged. Ken

Imperial Glass Corp., Bellaire, Ohio, USA, about 1964. This is the No. 616 Anniversary Comport, made to commemorate Imperial's 60th year in business. See the Imperial Glass Encyclopedia, vol. 1, p. 21. This color was called Heritage Blue at the time.
