Hi, can anyone tell me anything about this bowl please? my online trawling reveals that it is the same (or similar) shape to a Davidson 535 bowl but the pattern between the untextured parts is very different. The 523 bowl has a sort of starburst over a cross hatch as far as I can tell whereas this one just has a sort of rough texture in stead.
It weighs 917g and has a diameter (excluding the sticking out bits) of 24cm.
Hope someone has some idea!
Thanks.

Hi - the image is a bit small, but it looks to be Czech not Davidson. I'll have a look in my Sklo Union Art Before Industry: 20th Century Czech Pressed Glass (Marcus Newhall) when I have time.

Found it - Hermanova Hut-Glassexport 1958. Three different size bowls: Pattern no. 18885 27cm, 18754 13.24cm or 18809 15.29cm, so your's sounds like the first one.

Excellent! Thank you so much.

Well here's a strange coincidence! I just picked this (see photo) up for 10p at a car boot this morning.
