The proportions don't look quite right: https://picasaweb.google.com/Johnmj100/ScandinavianGlass#5730198822707353826

How tall is yours?

John

I thought that too John and I couldn't see any 'variant' here either

I have one here and it is 21.5 tall, diameter is 6cm. Same diameter?

It could just be a taller example, the only variation that I have noticed before is that they come with and without bubbles in the base. Just noticed in this photo though, middle shelf, right hand side - the two at the back are bigger than the three at the front: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t3lc9cwz0Ts/UklEK_jFnJI/AAAAAAAAFhg/AuYDVSOxiZg/s640/IMG_7414.

The diameter is 6cm from inside edge to inside edge.
The narrower parts seem more elongated in the vases that pic I think.

yes they are taller but the proportions are still similar i.e. they don't appear to have that taller part at the top as the OP's does by comparison.

Diameter would normally be measured from outside to outside.

It would not be impossible for it to be an unusual variation, the other question I have is the profile of the 'dents', they don't look to be the same but appearance can vary according to the angle any photo is taken from.

From the side they look more like a gently rounded v than a shallow c if that makes any sense. Also the photograph makes the top section look a little longer than the bottom section (up to the clear part) where in fact they are about the same length.

I think that might me Riihimaki, designed by Tamara Aladin.

Have you seen a Riihimaki one with the same profile? I couldn't find one, although I did find plenty with similar grooves.

Not Riihimaki (that I know about anyway), another possibility could be a German maker.
