Title: help required - Nazeing Cloudy / bubble Glass Tankard ?
Post by: Novasonic on October 17, 2015, 10:20:59 AM
Hi there,

I recently bought this tankard thinking it looked like a lot of the 1930s / 40s Nazeing pieces and the form resembles a couple of vases I have seen.

It weighs a hefty 868g and is green swirly bubble glass cased in clear glass with a celery type handle and a large thumb rest on top.  5 inches high with a flat base.

Is this Nazeing or another maker - Stevens & Williams and a rough date would be appreciated ?

Regards

Rob

D'ont think it is Nazeing, unless a one off frigger made in the glass makers own time. S&W did make similar green glass, or we made for them in our glass. A curio definitely.
