Title: Aventurine scent bottle,eastern ?
Post by: keith on November 03, 2015, 04:32:18 PM
5 inches tall, mis-matched stopper with ground base and rim, heck of a lot of aventurine, will make a good Christmas decoration !  ;D ;D

Very not keen on the ground base, but love the avventurine in the blue glass effect.  That looks beautiful.  Very subtle and classy and much nicer than on black I think.  And reminds me a bit of a snuff bottle.

Thanks m, shame it doesn't have the original stopper, that's if it had one, ::) ;D ;D

The  flat cut neck reminds me a lot of a snuff bottle.  Perhaps it isn't a perfume, perhaps a stem vase or something?
If it did have a stopper would it not have been a squat oval jade top or something as per a snuff bottle. That would look nicer than the clear tall one to be honest  :-[

You could be right, I have a few snuff bottles and that type of stopper would suit it better, ;D
