Title: Octagonal bowl, hand-blown wine glass - French?

Hi, another find from my French trip.  I am sure that I've seen such glasses before.  If I remember correctly they were attributed to Liege.

The glass is hand-blown and has an octagonal shaped bowl measuring 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter at the rim.  The bowl is decorated to the lower third with tendrils applied to the outside.  The bowl sits on a merise, a wrythened ball knop and a slim plain stem.  The stem sits on a conical foot with a rough pontil mark which measures 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter and which has a very thin fold to the edge.  The glass is 17.2 cm (6.9 inches) in height. It is made from non-lead metal. 

Any ideas as to origin?

Salviati for sure , often used by other firms for instance Moser Canine and flora or Fauna and flora
  enamelled wine glasses and many others . Over a long period .

Hi, I am sure that you are right.  I knew I'd seen that stem formation before.  Any idea as to date?

Well at a guess late 1900s to mid 20th century but you can ask Salviati they are still going . i believe .

Hi JP, yes they are still going, hence the request for dating information if you had it.  I've contacted them and asked if they can give me more information.  Once again my thanks for your assistance.
