Title: Hoffman Bear Centerpiece
Post by: mhgcgolfclub on November 04, 2015, 05:44:14 PM
I think this piece is by Hoffman although it not signed. It is shown in the Hoffman catalogue as one of a pair maybe for flat round candles. There is also a larger version shown.

This piece does glow a soft green under a UV light unlike the box.

Height 5" or 12.5cm

Thanks Roy

Could it be a punchbowl or something like that, considering that the larger version looks at least three times the size of the smaller ones? I don't think that the larger one was intended to hold candles too, I mean...

I'm sure you've seen this page...

Thanks Anne

I did see that page . Looking closer the 2 outside ones were not a mirror image pair but the same , the one on the right is larger than the left hence the different catalogue number.
