Title: Help to identify frosted glass wine cooler/ice bucket

I'm hoping someone can help me to identify a wine cooler/ice bucket. It used to belong to my husband's grandmother - so we're thinking it's 1930s or earlier. So far, my research has turned up the following terminology:
Westmoreland Rocker 1930s wine cooler/cubist ruba rombic/19th century boston and sandwich glass co/
Mt washington pairpoint/New england glass company/art glass ruba rombic wine cooler
but I'm unable to find an exact match. I've also only been able to find clear frosted glass examples and not coloured examples like ours. I'd really love to know the maker and a bit about it.

Your ice bucket looks to be the same shape / design as the one in an earlier topic here:

Is the metal part on yours stamped WMF also?

Thankyou. Looks similar but not quite the same. I can't find any makers marks on the metal - maybe rubbed off or under dirt - I'm reluctant to rub it. Here's another photo of the metal bit if that helps. Where would I find a maker's mark?

If it is stamped then it won't rub off, and yes, 100% WMF. Timewise is thirties, you have that right - even if they have been in production after the war as well, I believe..

Thanks IVO. It also makes sense that it probably had a little metal grille that the ice sat upon and the water collected under. I tried putting a wine bottle in it and it does fit but it didn't make sense to have designed it as a wine bottle chiller as the little glass rests inside wouldn't stand up to any heavy handling of a wine bottle. I've just told my husband about this forum and he's now inspired to try to make a little grille for it and get it back into service :0)

Sometimes the WMF stamp is very very very tiny indeed,  so it may be worth getting a magnifying glass out and examining all of the metal parts.... just in case. :)
