My Dad wants to sell some of his paperweight collection to raise some money to buy a mobility scooter for my mum. He has asked me to "fleabay" them for him but unfortunately I can't ID this one which might help get a reasonable price for it. Have had a look around and paperweights are a minefield; could it be a Baccarat or St Louis one?

Perthshire produced a triple overlay encased bouquet weight in 1974 - just 5 of them - with varying overlay cuttings: this may be one of them, and should really help to finance what you want to get.

Hi. I think this is a different colour combination from the 1974 version that Wuff mentions. I believe that Perthshire made a number of 'one-off' overlay encased double and triple overlays - this one looks like a double overlay encased double overlay to me. But whatever its exact description and date, it will contribute much, much more to your fund that the other weights you have shown.

so it's a Perthshire one then? Thanks very much guys. It did have a label to the base but unfortunately all the lettering had worn off. Ooooo sounds like a good one for him. What should I shove it on for guys as obviously absolutely no idea of value

Hi. We don't discuss values on this board. If you email me via our website I will give you my personal ideas on value.
