Title: Green glass candle holder with pontil mark

Another item for info. Green glass candle holder. Pontil mark with sharp edge. Roughly 12 x 9cm deep not including handle. Thanks.

At first glance the colour tells me it could be Empoli verde, but you would normally  see a groud pontil mark on those. Also the crackle surface is unusual for Empoli. Nevef say never though.

It is also possible that he piece is Austrian (Tirol) or German - or from Altare. Maybe someone else will be triggered by those terms as I do not have my books here to look it up.

is there any wear on the base at all?

Only just found this question 2 years later!
No wear on the base.
I have just noticed, however, that the handle is not a solid piece of glass. It is hollow. I never noticed that before.
