Title: Folded rim green vase help please.
Post by: brucebanner on December 01, 2015, 06:41:44 PM
Any thoughts on this one, heavy base wear but it does weigh 2kg.

7 inches in height, 6 inches in width.

Regards Chris.

I have seen something similar online or in a book recently but I could not find it again, I thought it might be Chinese but the base looks like it was once highly polished clear and it's almost worn all the way through, so I'm guessing it has been around a bit, it must have been moved around a lot. There is no water staining internally so I'm guessing it has never been used for flowers. I like the weird sculptural shape.
