Hi there
Back at least 8-ish years ago there was a Pressed Glass Club, is that still going? I remember that the guy who ran it (maybe his name was Roy?) was a real expert and had a lot of publications about the different suites of glass from the main manufacturers.
I was wondering if he was thinking about creating ebooks out of them as the ones I have are excellent for research, but I don't think I had all of them in the series.

Thanks Anne. I've found some of the copies of the magazine - the man who ran it was Rod Crowshaw.
There's some interesting information in them, do you think it would be OK if I share them here as long as I attribute them properly?
The printing quality might not hold up, but when I started collecting glass 20+ years ago, it was the kindness of people like Bernard Cavalot who were so willing to share information that made a huge impact. :)

The board's policy on copyright is not to allow copying verbatim text or scans of text/images from publications within their copyright period, Nicola, so although the original catalogues are out of copyright the scans made by the PGCC and used within their own publications are still covered by their copyright, so they should not be posted on the board.
Facts themselves are not subject to copyright, so you may extract data facts (e.g. pattern names and dates etc from any published works) and post them here in your own words, in doing so adding an attribution (source) is required - (a) it's good manners and (b) helps verify your data.
Many of the authors of reference works on glass are members here on the board so anyone trying to (ab)use their publications will also soon be spotted! :)

That's good to know :) There weren't that many articles but quite a few catalogue scans. I'm glad that copyright is taken so seriously here - it's heartbreaking when people cut and paste your work. It happened a lot when PressedInTime was up - from people on eBay to CINOA who copied my Sowerby article word for word on their site - they also happen to promote ethics within the antique industry!
