(I think I have a similar decanter with a label on it somewhere. On the other hand, I might be completely deluded. ;D)

You mean a couple of decades or so of practical experience? ;)

I can't think what might BE close to Dartington, apart from Caithness or Royal Doulton, or Wedgwood or King's Lynne.
