Title: ID Scandinavian looking decanter/bottle drinking glasses set
Post by: MrFlux on February 24, 2016, 04:00:32 AM
I have a Scandinavian or European style decanter/bottle and drinking glass set. The set is clear glass with layered textured  columns of amber glass detailing around the base. It is unmarked.

The style and colour looks similar to the Humppila Revontule bowl. Obviously on inspecting the two, there are too many differences in the design, and while searching on Google, I haven't found a decanter set by Humppila in that style.

Has anyone seen this set before and know any information about it?

Also, it doesn't have a stopper. Is the stopper missing or is it meant to not have a stopper?

The decanter neck shows no sign of grinding so I suspect it is in fact a carafe(sometimes called a decanter) and did not have a stopper.  No idea of the maker.

Or it had a loose stopper or a cork

see if the glass sits comfortably upside down on the neck, in which case it is a tumble-up, a night time bed site thirst quencher.
