Hello! Found this Holmegaard cup in a charity shop, here in Germany.
Does anyone have some information to this cup signed by Per Lütken (signed HG 8 PL)
Engraved: Fensmarklobet / 4-8-79 / Bakkespurt / Kl.A.?
"Fensmark(lobet)" is the home of Holmegaard
4-8-79 the date of the cup? race?
Bakkespurt? google says "uphill sprints"
Kl.A. ? The winner???

It's a vase from the 'Tivoli' series, designed in 1973. The 'PL 8' bit meaning it was produced in 1978.
The main engraving would have been produced outside of the factory - it seems to have been relatively normal to have had vases and drinking glasses engraved as prize trophies in Denmark into the 1980s.
The meaning of the engraving is pretty much as you've already found -
Fensmark Race
Date of the race
The individual event - uphill cycling
The initials of the winner - probably someone called Klaus
