I can't place this pattern. I was looking first at Schneider but seemingly not...anybody else got a tip to help me?
Its 41 cm diameter!
-
Please do not count on me, Jay - it's nothing I've seen before, I'm afraid.
Beautiful and obviously of high quality!
-
Well if you don't know, Pamela then it must be very rare as well! ;-)
Thanks for looking!

Pierre d'Avesn I think. Surprised if it isn't marked though...
Edit: here's a smaller size of what appears to be the same pattern on Glassholic's Flickr collection, also with a D'Avesn attribution :) https://www.flickr.com/photos/glassholic/6323392059/
You can see that example has a moulded mark along the inner row of ribs at about the 5:00 o' clock position.

There definitely isn't a mark on mine! (at any time LOL)
But it DOES look like dÁvesn doesn't it! (Beautifully finished too as you would then expect).
-
Eureka!,
I found an identical one with a signature. Just a few checks on the sig and we've all become a little wiser today.

Identity confirmed!
Sometime after he finished Lalique but it's not quite clear whether this is Sevres (less likely) or Daum (when you'd expect a mark) or an independent piece.
-
Perhaps Choisy-le-Roi ... if i remember well d'Avesn worked for them for a couple of years after WWII. Their pressed glass items are usually not signed or just signed with 'France'.
-
I spotted this bowl, same décor but with a foot, I'm not sure if the signature can be taken serious though ... well actually I am sure, because I don't think d'Avesn ever signed like this and it looks a bit amateurish. In the description it says the signature's enamelled but it looks more like a red crayon or something... still, whatever it may be, I think it's a very nice and impressive piece ... one of these pieces that you can't stop looking at, that are very tactile and bring a smile to your face whenever you see them... well, that happens to me sometimes with some pieces, but I've been told on several occasions that I'm losing it a bit. ??? :-\
