Title: Perfume Bottle signature help
Post by: azjohnny on March 16, 2016, 07:42:02 PM
Hello I purchased this perfume bottle and can not identify the artist.
I am hoping someone here can help me :)
It is 6" tall with out the applicator, 7 1/2" with. The neck is 1" and tapers out to 3" wide then back down to 1" where it attaches to the base it is aprox 2" thick.
The base is football shaped with dimples on each end. aprox 3 3/4" wide and 2 3/4" deep at its deepest part.
The vessel inside is cobalt blue covered in clear the last inch before the base is clear.
The applicator is 5 1/2" long frosted at tip and contact point of bottle opening.
Any help at all would be awesome!
Thanks
]ohnny

Hello and welcome to the board :)

Your perfume bottle is very pretty.  I wonder if you can take another shot of the signature without any light spots reflecting on the signature part please?  It might just help someone recognise the words a bit more.
It might be an American Studio maker but hopefully someone will be able to help you with a clearer signature picture.
Many thanks
m

Great photos!  terrible writing by the artist of course.
I'm really sorry but I haven't a clue what that reads.
I hope someone might be along who recognises it.  Possibly an American Studio artist.

Could it read Ian S Banks 2002?
It's a difficult name to google or yahoo, everything turns it into Iain Banks, the (wonderful) Scottish author.
