Title: Monart lamp shade
Post by: Gary on March 17, 2016, 09:24:21 PM
This is my latest addition to my Monart lampshade collection. It is shape code S6, size code V1+, colour code ?. The decoration is quite unusual, white cased cloisonne, purple, and blue splashes with small bubble inclusions.
I have attempted with photos below to show how different lighting changes the look of the shade.

It is really nice that you've got a ceiling rose to set it off properly when in situ. It's the right sort of period.
Just the icing on your cake.  :)

Lovely piece Gary, quite a collection of light shades now  ;)

lovely colours and looks fab lit up. Could it be a colour 366 variation?

Cheers, it does look good in my living room.

Thanks Roberta, it is certainly my most colourful Monart shade.
I did look at colour code 366 as a possible colour code for my shade, though there is a similarity between my shade and colour code 366 there is two main difference. These being, in colour code 366 the main colour is an electric blue and with some green where mine the main colour is purple and with no green.
Below are images of colour code 366 and one of my shade.
Also an extra image from the Monart lighting catalogue showing shape code S6.
