Im unsure although ive seen some referances to inwald being a possible candidate for the piece, Its a heavy piece and quality made with an applied solid black glass square foot with a size of 3.5" or slightly more with plenty of wear to the edges with an overall height of slightly over 10" and the wall of the vase is 1cm thick and it weighs 1.8kg any help would be lovely.

Looks like Inwald's 11040 pattern. This design was also shown in the catalogues of H. Markhbeinn (French importer of Czech glass). You can see the three sizes offered in this scan from their 1934 catalogue on pressglas-korrespondenz.de: http://www.pressglas-korrespondenz.de/archiv/pdf/pk-2005-1w-01-mb-markhbeinn-1934.pdf (smallest size has catalogue no. 11039, while 11040 is shown in two versions, one 25cm which would match yours, and one 30cm).

Thankyou mosquito for your time in giving me a full perfect response sorry for not getting back to you with my reply it is fantastic to be certain of its maker, Would this type of vase be classed as pressed glass as it feels more like crystal than pressed glass although it has no pontil scar on the base.
Thanks again dan.
