This is for a lady on another board. I drew a blank & we know its not from the U.S. its onlt 7 cm or 2 3/4" height. Someone suggested Sowerby but any search was unsuccessful. Thanks for helping her out. Ken

Could it be the lid from a pot or similar?
-
Or could it be a car mascot? There is one on Pinterest suggested as such... https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/139611657176941894/

Anne very much appreciated & lady was thrilled to finally find out what it was for. I was kiching myself as over the years I've had two M Model mascots myself but it never dawned on me. Ken

Deb Campling in Australia wanted me to thank you personally for helping her out Anne. Ken

Are these mascots marked "M Model" on the base?
-
Ken, I'm happy to be of help for your friend. As I said, it was just a suggestion. It would be lovely to find an example labelled as such in a catalogue.

Kevin these below are marked on the base while the pigeon ones I had were actually marked M Model on the fan part of the tail.
