A quiet day at Malvern was much improved when I met John who not only had a shade for me but had found a table lamp, a 'shoulder' vase lamp in 'midnight' ;D ;D ta John ;D
-
I do like the dark colour the best.
The chrysanthemum shade on the stand looks like a very happy partnership, it's slightly reminiscent of Chance "Silhouette".
-
Does a bit, only another 8 lamps to get now, ::) ;D ;D
-
I'm watching to check you get one like the yellow one I gave away before I knew you were after RB.
I'm looking out for another one for you. ;D
-
You need to expand your collecting Keith, i found some real beauties today. (new camera btw?)
-
Sue, already have two yellow, I only have one in black though ::) ;D
Chris, I don't think the house can expand any further ! just the old camera, ;D
-
You have a tall lamp base, in yellow, speckled with white?
-
Finding the lamp that morning was serendipitous in the extreme! :D
John
-
Oh no Sue, not in yellow I didn't know they did lamp bases till Charles Hajdamach sent me those pictures, I can't believe how much stuff they produced ! ::) ;D ;D
Certainly was John ;D ;D
-
I like the shade and I like the base, Keith, but I'm not keen on them together - I'd have a plain shade with that base, but the chrysanthemum shade would look fab on a plain base (I have a silver bottle vase shaped one it would suit if you get bored with it!!!) It reminds me of the wallpapers you see in some of the trendy boutique hotels! :) The RB shade is gorgeous!

It was the only shade we had, the one in the image Charles sent me had a plain white 'coolie' hat shape ( I can say 'coolie' can't I ? ) ;D
