Title: Kingfisher Blue Vase Unusual Design ID Please - Scandinavian or Whitefriars ?
Post by: stubbsywubsy on March 29, 2016, 01:28:18 PM
i Have this large and great qualit Kingfisher blue (or very similar) Vase, on one side the ribbed lines are vertical and the other are horizontal which gives it a very clever criss Cross design when displayed.

i was hoping some one may know the Maker of this?
kind regards
Steven

I am tempted to say Krosno who were very very fond of this pointed oval shape, used dark blue and clear casing.

Here are a couple of related threads, possibly Alsterbro Sweden or Polish as Ivo suggests, both produced similar designs I believe....

Gunnar Ander for Lindshammar is a distinct possibility.

Here is the Lindshammar / Gunnar Ander version, slightly different though: Link (http://www.tradera.com/item/301944/255146537/stilig-koboltbla-reliefmonstrad-lindshammar-vas-gunnar-ander)
